Travis Thompson, Website Manager Rick Thompson, who has been in the automobile business for 28 years, recently purchased Bukoski Chevrolet Pontiac in Ubly with partner Al Wasik and relocated the business to a much more prominent location. The two men are also involved with Bell-Wasik in Caro and Thompson-Wasik pre-owned vehicles in Bad Axe. Rick Thompson, the new president, was not satisfied with keeping things the way they were, so he purchased some property just north of Ubly and the plans for a new dealership began. With the new building and location of Thompson-Wasik Chevrolet Pontiac, the dealership went from 3,500 square feet to 12,000 in the new building. Since being under new management, the service and parts department sales have quadrupled and the new and used sales have tripled.
